Kusa-Senrigahama
Kusasenri is a beautiful location with views of the smoking Mt. Nakadake. The landscape here is truly idyllic, with a shallow, four-sided prairie spreading over the foot of the northern side of Mt. Eboshi, coupled with a large central pond and grazing horses. It is visited by lots of people throughout the year, and visitors can take in the colors of all four seasons, including lush greenery in the summer and wondrous silver in the winter, while enjoying a horse-back ride or a walk. It is also one of Aso’s iconic landscapes, and numerous poets have written verses about its vast scenery.
