Mifuneyama Rakuen
At the foot of Mount Mifuneyama are the remains of the villa of the feudal lord of Takeo, Shigeyoshi Nabeshima (the garden was created in 1845). Within the garden, 2,000 cherry blossom trees bloom in late March, and 200,000 azaleas, wisterias (white and purple) and rhododendrons give the gardens brilliant color from mid-April to early May.
