Kamishikimi Kumanoimasu Shrine
Known for being the setting of a popular manga comic, this shrine is a mysterious place that has long been preserved in unspoiled natural surroundings. The scene of the sun entering the moss-covered dark green world is a fantastic sight that has been shared by many on the social media. The shrine is believed to bring good luck in marriage.

Point
- The shrine deifies Izanagi no Mikoto, Izanami no Mikoto, and Iwakimi Taishogun. There are nearly 100 lanterns lining the approach to the shrine. Ugetoiwa behind the shrine is a giant crack in a rock more than 10 meters in width and height said to have been kicked open by Kihachi Hoshi, a follower of Takeiwatatsu no Mikoto.
