Ebino Kogen
Located in the northern part of the Kirishima Kinkowan National Park (formerly known as the Kirishima Yaku National Park), the first national park designated within Japan, Ebino Kogen is the leading tourism area in the prefecture, known as a treasure trove of rich nature. The area can be enjoyed all year round, with many small and big mountains stretching out across the region, including Mount Karakuni, which is popular for hiking.
