Kitakyushu Airport is an excellent jumping off point, located near Fukuoka's largest cities of Kitakyushu City and Fukuoka City, as well as some of the best hot springs in Japan at Beppu and Yufuin, along with the sightseeing spots of Kyushu and Yamaguchi.
You can purchase local agricultural and seafood products at its shops, and sample local food at its restaurants (Korean menus available).
