Chiringashima
Chiringashima, or Chirin Island, is also known as the “marriage island.” You can walk here across the sandy “Chiririn Road,” an 800-meter sandbank that appears at low tide during the middle and spring tide period from March to October.
*Please check the tide times on the "Chiringashima Sandbank Information" website before crossing to the island.
*There are no toilets or vending machines on Chiringashima. Please bring your own water and take steps to stay cool and prevent heatstroke.
